Extract Odd PDF Pages: from input to a reviewable result
Create a new local PDF containing page 1, page 3, page 5, and every other one-based odd page from the source. It is a deterministic counterpart to even-page extraction for duplex scans, alternating worksheets, and documents where the front-facing sequence must be reviewed separately.
Worked example: keep front sides from a seven-page packet
Example input
A 7-page PDF whose front sides occupy odd-numbered pages.
Example output
A 4-page PDF containing original pages 1, 3, 5, and 7 in source order.
How to interpret it
The first source page is odd because page numbering is one-based; it is retained along with every second page after it.
Copy one-based odd pages into a fresh PDF
The local PDF engine filters source page indices 0, 2, 4, and onward, copies those pages without rasterizing their visible content, and serializes the selected sequence as a new download. Source order is preserved and no page is inferred from printed footer numbers.
Odd-page extraction boundaries
Printed page labels can differ from physical PDF page order; selection follows physical order only.
Signed, encrypted, or damaged PDFs may fail to load or lose signature validity when rebuilt.
Page-level content is copied, but document-wide navigation and interactive structures require separate review.
