Image Overlay Merger: from input to a reviewable result
Combine exactly two local images: the first becomes the base canvas and the second becomes an overlay with adjustable size, opacity, and position. The page previews the same canvas composition used for the downloadable PNG.
Worked example: place a logo on a 1600×900 image
- Example input
- Base: 1600×900 campaign image; overlay: transparent logo; size 25%; opacity 80%; position bottom right.
- Example output
One 1600×900 PNG with the resized logo composited at the selected corner and opacity.
How to interpret it
The base image defines the output dimensions. Scaling applies to the overlay, and the position control places that scaled rectangle inside the base canvas.
Canvas composition order
The browser decodes both selected images, draws the base at its native canvas size, calculates the overlay rectangle from the chosen scale and position, applies the selected alpha, and exports the composed canvas as PNG. No source file is uploaded.
Composition boundaries
- Choose exactly two JPEG, PNG, or WebP files; the first is always the base.
- Selections are capped at 50 MB and 24 megapixels in total.
- PNG export can be larger than the original compressed files and does not preserve their metadata.
